Swaffham Museum has a fantastic education service and is able to offer a Learning & Access Officer for outreach and in-house teaching sessions.
We have a dedicated Education Room and a collection of Loan Boxes connected to National Curriculum topics, along with Memory Boxes for use by community groups in Reminiscence sessions.
Topics covered are: Fifties, Sixties,
Egyptians, Romans, Then & Now, Toys in the Past, Tudors, Victorians & World War II.
Prices
Teacher-led museum visits are charged at the normal admission rate of £1 per child.
School visits, including a session with the Learning & Access Officer, are charged at £3 per pupil. There is no charge for teachers or helpers.
Outreach services are charged at £30 per hour.
Our Loan & Memory Boxes are priced at £20 for two weeks.
