We are currently looking for interest in becoming a Trustee of the Museum (two posts).

As part of our offer of free access for schools and children’s groups we are looking to recruit volunteers to complete our education team and support our Activity Days which run Monday to Friday, 10am to 2pm, when requested by schools.

The Friends of Swaffham Heritage (FoSH) aim to support the museum both financially and by encouraging Friends to help out as Museum Volunteers. Volunteers work both behind the scenes and as stewards.
The membership fee to join the Friends is a one-off Life membership fee of £10 for an individual or £15 for a family (two adults and two children under 16 years of age living at the same address). This gives you free access to all the museum galleries for life. For further information on Friends membership, contact the Treasurer at the Friends of Swaffham Heritage.
To become a member of Friends of Swaffham Heritage, please download, complete and return the FoSH application form and Gift Aid Declaration form if applicable by email to the Treasurer at the Friends of Swaffham Heritage.
This club is run by the Friends for members over the age of 16 for a yearly subscription of £20 per share. Members of the 100 Club are allocated a unique number for each share bought. Each month a member could win a prize of £40, £20 or £10 with special extra prize of £100 in May and November.

Events are organised by the committee of the Friends of Swaffham Heritage. These help to raise funds towards the upkeep and ongoing expense of running the museum. Many of these are open to all - Friends and guests. Please contact Stuart Clapton for Friends Events bookings and enquiries.

Friday 17th November 2023 – Coach trip to Ely Cathedral Christmas Fair. £20 FoSH members / £25 for guests
